LOWELL-- Janina 'Jenny' (Dziubek) Blais, 89 years old, of Lowell, and Plant City, Florida, for over 20 years; died peacefully in her sleep at her residence, on Monday September 18, in Lowell. She was the wife of the late Joseph R.N. Blais, who died in 2008.

She was born in Lowell, a daughter of the late John and Annie (Koziol) Dziubek, and was a graduate of Lowell High School.

For many years she worked as a Fancy Stitcher for Lowell Shoe and Grace Shoe. She enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren, knitting, reading, shopping, computer games, and her trips to Foxwoods. While she resided in Florida, she and her husband Joe, enjoyed volunteering at the Strawberry Festival, dancing to polka music, and their many ocean cruises.

Surviving her are her children: Real Blais, of Lowell; Allen Blais, and his wife Patricia, of Tyngsboro; Brian Blais, of Lowell; and Denise Brugnoli, and her husband Stephen, of Tyngsboro; her grandchildren: Michael and Matthew Blais, Nicholas and Tyler Brugnoli, all of Tyngsboro; and Alicia and Alexander Blais, of Lowell; a sister: Stephanie Hebert, of Lowell; of Lowell; a brother: Adam Dziubek, of Florida; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sisters Josephine Rowe, Olga Czuba, Mary Radcliff, and Stasia Emond; and her brother Ted Dziubek.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects from 9:00-10:00 a.m., FRIDAY, September 22nd, at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut. Her funeral service to follow at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial in the VA National Cemetery, in Bourne, MA at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital; 501 St Jude Place; Memphis, TN 38105.
