Nancy Robinson (Carr)
Nancy (Carr) Robinson, 65, of Dracut passed away suddenly on January 7, 2018 with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the Arthur “Artie” Robinson for over 20 years. Born in Concord, MA on August 7, 1952, she was the cherished daughter of the late Arthur and Doris (Park) Carr of Concord. She was raised in Concord, graduated Concord-Carlisle High School and was very proud of her hometown roots.
For years, Nancy had been involved in the family business at Richardson Drug Company. She was the Administrator of the West Concord Plaza and A & D Real Estate, LLC which she owned with her brother, Robert Carr. She served on the Board at Deacon Abundant Life Communities and had been a member of the Newbury Court Board of Overseers in recent years.
Since her youth, she loved spending summers at the Carr family camp on Pine River Pond. Nancy could be found “Relax”ing with family and friends on her boat enjoying a beautiful sunset on the lake. Nancy and Artie also enjoyed winter vacations in Clearwater Beach where they met up with friends annually. In addition to being an avid photographer and knitter, one of her many pleasures in life was golfing at Mount Pleasant.
Nancy was a devoted friend. She enjoyed socializing and was known for her warm smile and gentle nature. Her quick wit and genuine laugh will be sorely missed by all.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband Arthur and her three children: her son Michael Ducharme and his wife Kristen of Londonderry, NH; her daughter Kristen Locke and her husband James of Hudson, NH and her daughter Holli Robinson of Northborough, MA. She leaves 4 grandchildren: Gavin McGrath, Connor and Jackson Ducharme, and Logan Locke. These boys will miss their loving Nana.
Nancy is also survived by her brother, Robert Carr and his wife Nancy of Concord, MA, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Tufts Medical Center in Boston for the compassionate care and comfort they gave to Nancy.
