Thomas F.  Chandler
DRACUT- Thomas F. Chandler, 80, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family, Tuesday, January 2nd. He was the beloved husband of Carolan M. (Cailler) Chandler.

Thomas was born in Lowell, on July 4, 1937, a son of the late Dorothy (Williams) and Thomas Chandler. Upon his graduation from high school, Thomas enlisted in the U.S.Navy. and served his country proudly aboard the USS Ranger as a machinist's mate.

He worked as a Printer for Courier Citizen, NEO Print and Sullivan Brothers Printing all of Lowell.

In his free time,Thomas was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He loved Western movies and word finds. You could always find him hanging with the guys at Tom's Auto of Dracut or you would see him sitting on his deck during the warm months. He was a member of the East End Social Club of Lowell the Lowell Senior Center, and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.

Besides his wife of 40 years,Thomas will be deeply missed by his 3 children: David and his wife Sharon Poitras of Lowell, Cheryl Poitras of Dracut and Chris and his wife Ginette Chandler of Derry, NH. He also leaves his 5 siblings: William and Kay Chandler of Colorado, Dorothy and Thomas LaRochelle of Windham, NH, MaryLou and Vic Lapointe of Dunstable, Eileen and Thomas Gilbride of Florida, Patricia and John Jozokos,3 grandchildren: David, Jr., and Dale Poitras and Caden Chandler, and many nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, January15th, from 9AM -12Noon at the Dracut Funeral Home, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut, Ma 01826, followed by his funeral service at NOON in the funeral home.
