Obituary for Raymond Reid

Raymond  Reid
Raymond J. Reid, age 63, died Saturday, May 26, 2018 at his home in Lowell after an extended illness. He was born in Lowell on January 4, 1955, son of Raymond W. Reid and M. Dorothy (Cheswick) Reid. Ray graduated from Lowell High School and worked for many years at the Lowell Housing Authority. He was a loyal Patriots fan, loved to snow ski, worked in the garden, and cooked for his neighbors.
He is survived by his sister Patricia and her husband Richard Longtin of Zellwood Florida, his wife Mary of Malden and her children Damon and Melissa as well as their grandchildren Kaylee, Aayla, and Corey. He is also survived by several cousins. Ray was predeceased by his parents and his brother, John C. Reid. There will be a private burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Tewksbury. At his request, there will be no visitation or service. Donations may be made in his memory to the Epilepsy Foundation New England 355 Main Street #8, Wilmington, MA 01887.
