TYNGSBORO- Theresa A. (Perreault) Paradis 88, of Tyngsboro, MA and formerly Dracut, MA died Wednesday evening at Lowell General Hospital Saints Campus after a brave battle with multiple myeloma. She was the wife of the late Charles A.R. Paradis who died October 1, 1996, and with whom she was happily married to for 49 years.
Born in Lowell September 26, 1929, a daughter of the late Joseph Perreault and the late Virginia (Letendre) Perreault.
Mrs. Paradis was a volunteer at Life Care Center in Acton and taught arts and crafts at the Smith Baker Center in Lowell. She was very vibrant and social and enjoyed going to Foxwoods with her children, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by eight children, Charlotte Desrochers of Pepperell, MA, Charles Paradis and his wife Janice of Haddam, CT, Jack Paradis of Londonderry, NH, Gratia Paradis of Dracut, MA, William Paradis and his partner Carolyn Haskell of North Reading, MA, Gerard Paradis of Tyngsboro, MA, Arthur Paradis of Londonderry, NH, Michelle Paradis and her wife Lisa of West Hartford, CT, and a sister, Rita Ramalho and her husband Arthur of Lowell, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her children Robert and Thomas Paradis.
Friends may call at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue DRACUT on Wednesday September 5th, from 4:00 until 7:00 pm. Her funeral service will take place Thursday September 6th at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chelmsford.
