Albert G. Sablone Jr. Obituary (1967 - 2020) - Dracut, MA

DRACUT Albert G. Sablone, Jr., 53, a resident of Dracut, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday August 7, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Martha (Kneizys) Sablone. He was born in Everett on February 1, 1967 and was a son of Virginia M. (Santaniello) Sablone of Winthrop and the late Albert G. Sablone, Sr. Albert grew up in Winthrop and was a graduate of St. Dominick Savio High School in East Boston with the class of 1985. He went on to graduate with his BA in biology from Boston College in 1989. For the last 13 years, Albert worked for Pfizer in Andover as a Lead Investigator. In his free time, he loved going to the beach with his family, going to see a local play or musical with his wife, playing pool with friends, drinking his favorite wine and thoroughly enjoying reading a new release or a timeless classic. His greatest accomplishment was his family and enjoyed spending quality time with them. In addition to his wife and mother, Albert is survived by his loving children, Joshua and Lindsey Sablone of Dracut, his stepchildren; Richard Pichette, Jr. of Dracut, David Pichette of Hampton, NH, and Samantha Pichette of Nashua, NH. He also leaves a brother Jonathan Sablone and his wife Kathleen of North Reading. He was also a loving uncle of Paul and Andrew Sablone of North Reading, MA and will be deeply missed by his dogs; Pickles and Seamus. He was predeceased by his infant son, Matthew. Visiting Hours will be held on Wednesday, August 12th, 2020 from 4:00 7:00 pm in the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT. To ensure the safety of all, social distancing measures will be in place and face coverings kindly required. In addition, due to the current health restrictions, his Funeral Mass and interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Albert's name to Voices of Hope, 171 Park Street, Stoneham, MA 02180.
