(Daigle) Hoffman, 94, died peacefully at her daughters home on Saturday, November 7, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Howard R. Hoffman, until his passing in 1993. Born in Dracut on October 21, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Eli and Laura (Plamondon) Daigle. Doris attended Dracut High School and later worked as an Electronic Assembler at Sanders Associates for over 30 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed many years of boating with her husband on Lake Winnpesaukeei, traveling with her daughter and son in law, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by and will be deeply missed by her daughter, Sheila Bourgeois and her husband Raymond of Dracut; and her son in law Samuel D'Orto of Dracut; five grandchildren, Kimberlly Coppinger and her husband Patrick of Dracut, Mark Bourgeois and his wife Christine of Tyngsboro, Jondavid D'Orto and his companion Wendy Keller of Newbury, Keith Bourgeois and his wife Lisa of Dracut, Jeff D'Orto and his companion Vicky Michel of Dracut; 7 great grandchildren, Ellery, Payne, Sorrell, Reed, Samantha, Tristan and Jaclyn. She also leaves a very special niece and nephew, Mary and her husband Scott and Arthur and his wife Lynn. She was predeceased by her daughter Brenda J. D'Orto who passed away in 2008, and her four younger brothers, Henry, Arthur, Ernest, and Joe. . ARRANGEMENTS: At Doris' request, there will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Friday, November 13th at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Tyngsboro. Burial will take place immediately following at Oakland Cemetery in Dracut.
