She was born to the late Arthur and Blanche Lapointe, October 29, 1928, in Dracut, MA. Doris was a lifelong resident of Dracut. She attended Dracut High School and Lowell Beauty Academy. She married Frank Smigelski in 1947, and they were married for 66 years. Frank passed away in 2014 Doris worked for many years at Fairhaven Nursing Home as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She retired in 1994. She enjoyed traveling, baking and spending time with her grandchildren. Doris is survived by her three sons: Alan Smigelski, and his wife Wendy, of Pelham, NH; Karl Smigelski, and his wife Linda, of Hudson, NH and Frank Smigelski Jr, and his wife Tara, of Nashua, NH. Six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive her. ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass to be offered on Saturday November 4th, at 10 AM at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Tyngsboro. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
