She was the widow of the late Demetrios "James" Ntapalis, who was a former union official and business agent of the AFL-CIO. Born in Lowell, MA on May 2, 1927, Fotine was the daughter of Vasilios and Christine (Athanasopoulos) Limberopoulos of Greece. She was a National Honor Society graduate of Lowell High School and had an Associate's Degree in Business. For many years, Fotine worked as an Executive Assistant for the Director of Lowell Housing Authority until her retirement. Prior to that, she was a Bookkeeper for Stop and Shop in Lowell and an Administrative Assistant for the Director of the Library at UMASS Lowell. During World War II, she worked at Fort Devens. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother and will deeply missed by all who knew her. Fotine is survived by her two children, Nicholas J. Ntapalis of Lowell and Dr. Christine Ntapalis- Kafasis and her husband James Kafasis of Methuen. She is also survived by her two beloved grandchildren, Nicolette Demetria Kafasis and Nicholas James Kafasis, niece Betty Brown of Lowell, nephew William Limberopoulos of Pelham, NH, sister-in-law Hermine Limberopoulos, and her very close friend Mrs. Seraphim Garas, both of Lowell. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Nicholas V. Limberopoulos and Peter V. Limberopoulos. ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, November 29th from 8:30- 10:30 a.m. at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. Her Funeral Service will take place at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Lowell.
