Janis M. Pultar Obituary (1956 - 2024)

Janis M. (Callahan) Pultar, 68, a resident of Pelham, NH, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of William H. Pultar, Jr., with whom she shared 35 years of marriage. She was born in Medford on February 1, 1956, and was the daughter of the late John J. and Jean M. (Haker) Callahan. Janis number one job was being the best nurturing mother to her children David and Jenni Calo and her stepchildren Doctor William Arthur, and Brian Pultar. She devoted her life to giving all her children the opportunities to be successful adults. She was a hardcore hockey mom, and enjoyed the simple things in life such as family ski trips, water and snow skiing, camping, etc. In addition to her loving husband, Janis leaves her children, Mrs. Jenni Contreas and her husband Cesar of Tyngsboro, David Calo of Lowell, Doctor William Pultar and his girlfriend Adriana Rosario of Rockport, and Brian and Krissy Pultar of Lowell, her sister Jeanne (Callahan) Giannasca and husband Tony Giannasca, and numerous nephews and nieces. Janis was predeceased by her Father Jack Callahan, and her mother Jean Callahan of Medford, and her brothers Jack, Rick, and Robert Callahan . Visiting hours will be held on Monday, June 10 from 9 am 11 am at the Dracut Funeral Home, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut. Her funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:30 am in the funeral home following the visitation. Interment will be held privately.
