Joan Marie Crawson

Joan M. (Zimmerman) Crawson, 90, a longtime resident of Lowell, passed away peacefully at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, on Saturday, October 19, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on November 11,1933, and was raised in Malden. She was the daughter and second born of eight children of the late Frederick J. and Chantal (Hubbard) Zimmerman.

She was known for being a tough cookie.

Joan is survived by her five children, Warren LeBlanc and his wife Gail, Lorna Corbin and her husband Jeff, Linda Bradish and her husband David, Robbie Crawson and his significant other Laura Webb, MaryJo McCreedy and her husband Michael; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 9 am to 11 am at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. Her funeral service will take place on Thursday October 24, 2024 at 11 am in the funeral home following the visitation. Interment in St. Josephs Cemetery, CHELMSFORD.
