Born in Kato Voutena, Messinia Greece on August 11, 1924, he was a son of the late Panagioti and Vasiliki (Stathopoulos) Karamanolis. In 1969, Konstantinos migrated to America with his family to pursue the American Dream. Konstantinos was a member of both the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Church of Dracut, and Pan Messinian Federation. After his retirement, he enjoyed traveling back and forth to Greece, working in his olive orchards, gardening. Above all, Konstantinos' most cherished time was spent with his large family and friends, whom he loved so much. In addition to his wife, Georgia, he is survived and will be deeply missed by his six children, Vasiliki Psikarakis and her late husband, Stylianos of Watertown, Peter Karamanolis and his wife Alexandra of Atlanta, GA, Eleni Tsianakas and her husband John of Tyngsboro, George Karamanolis and his wife Marina of Alabama, Joanna Houliaris and her husband Panagioti of Dracut, and James Karamanolis and his wife Leonela of Lowell; 15 grandchildren, Maria Matheos and her husband Theofilos, Georgia Tasiopoulos and her husband Evan, Panagioti Tsianakas and his wife Sophia, Elena Theofilopoulos and her husband Peter, Alexandra Lyons and her husband Daniel, Johnny Houliaris, Konstantinos Karamanolis and Amber, Georgina, Michael, Konstantinos, Anastasios, Gianna, Alex, Konstantinos, and Aris Karamanolis; 10 great grandchildren, Peter, Steven, Alexia, Christos, Vasiliki, Eliana, Athan, Eleni, Liliana, and Baby Peter, as well as one great grandchild on the way; a brother, Demetrios Karamanolis and his late wife, Sophia; and a sister, Georgia Kontoulis and her husband Christos; as well as many nieces and nephews, here and in Greece. He was predeceased by his brother, Theodore Karamanolis and his wife Panagiota and his sister, Olympia Petropoulos and her husband Anastasios. The Karamanolis family would especially like to thank the Dialysis center "FMC Lowell", Lowell General and Saints Memorial Hospital, and all the Nurses and Caretakers who cared for Konstantinos during his visits. ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on FRIDAY, November 25th from 3 to 8 p.m. at the ASSUMPTION OF THE VIRGIN MARY GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, 1160 MAMMOTH ROAD, DRACUT. His funeral service will take place SATURDAY, November 26th at 11 a.m at the Church. Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery, Lowell.
