Prud'homme, 94, of Hilton Head Island, SC and Tyngsboro, MA, died February 17th 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Prud'homme, in 2004. Lavina was born on March 10, 1917. She is the daughter of the late David O. Hamer and Dora (Pilotte) Hamer. Lavina enjoyed reading, walking and spending time with her family and friends at the Hawthorne Inn. Lavina leaves two children, her son Gerry Prud'homme and daughter-in-law Barbara of Hilton Head Island, SC and her daughter, Nancy Gilbert and son-in-law Kent of Madison, AL; her three grandchildren, Dan Prud'homme and his wife Sheri of Hilton Head Island, SC, Melanie Haro and her husband Chris of Hilton Head Island, SC and Rachael Gilbert of Madison, AL; as well as two great-grandchildren, Dora Mae Prud'homme and Luke Mason Haro. She is predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Fuller, in 2010 and by her brother, David O.Hamer. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut on Tuesday from 2 until 4 PM and 6 until 8 PM. Her Funeral will be held on Wednesday from the Funeral Home at 9:30 AM followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in St. Mary Magdalen Church, TYNGSBORO. Committal prayers will be held in St. Patrick Cemetery Chapel, Lowell. Spring burial in Richardson Cemetery, Dracut. Arrangements entrusted to the care of DRACUT FUNERAL HOME.
