Lisa Ann Cefalo
Beloved Wife, Sister, and Friend
1959 – 2026

Lisa Ann Cefalo, age 66, a resident of Dracut, passed away peacefully at D’Youville Life and Wellness Community in Lowell on Sunday, April 5, 2026, surrounded by her loving family following a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

She was the beloved wife of Karen Savastano, with whom she shared 31 wonderful years of marriage. Born in Lynn, Massachusetts, Lisa was the daughter of the late Albert Peter and Gloria Ann (Reid) Cefalo. She grew up in Lynn and graduated from Lynn English High School before earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire.

After graduation, Lisa proudly served her country for six years in the United States Army as a Cryptography and Communications Specialist. She later began a long and distinguished career as a Reliability Engineer, retiring as Technical Director of Reliability from MKS Instruments in Andover, Massachusetts. Lisa was deeply admired and respected by her colleagues for her intelligence, leadership, and integrity.

An avid sports fan, Lisa was a lifelong supporter of the Boston Red Sox. As a child, she attended spring training each year with her family, and one of her happiest moments was watching the Red Sox finally break the curse and win the 2004 World Series. She also loved collecting sports cards and memorabilia, spending time at the beach, and searching for hidden treasures with her metal detector.

In addition to her loving wife, Lisa is survived by her siblings, Marie Moore and her husband Don of Wakefield, MA, and Albert “Chuck” Cefalo and his wife Joanna of Lynn, MA. She is also survived by her brothers- and sisters-in-law Donna Savastano and her partner Christina Spinelli of Derry, NH; Michael and his wife Kelly Savastano of Windham, NH; Dan Savastano of Derry, NH; Lisa Scali and her husband Philip of Belmont, MA; and Stephen and his wife Sandra Savastano of Matthews, NC. Lisa leaves behind seventeen beloved nieces and nephews—Noelle, Hayley, Christian, Eric, David, Danny, Daniel, Chris, Julia, Alex, Rachael, Mia, David, Philip, Spencer, Victoria, and Aliza—as well as six great-nieces and nephews, Austin, Griffin, Reagan, Ara, Ian, and Alianna. She was predeceased by her sister, Margaret (Peggy) Cefalo.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Diana Apetauerova, Lisa’s neurologist at Lahey Hospital in Burlington, MA, as well as the dedicated staff at D’Youville Life and Wellness Community and Tufts Hospice, for the exceptional care, compassion, and support they provided to Lisa.

Her funeral services and interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lisa’s memory may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research at michaeljfox.org.
