Louis "Lou" Uy Lam Obituary (1968 - 2021)

Louis Uy Lam, age 53, a resident of Dracut, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, December 11, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Yi Yun "Esther" Deng with whom he enjoyed 19 years of marriage. He was born in Cho Lon, Vietnam on November 5, 1968 and was the son of Vinh Lam and Hoa Tran. Lou graduated UMass Boston. He worked for IBM as a Data Security Senior Database Manager and VA Contents Development Manager for many years. Lou was a hard worker, always dedicated and focused. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling, listening to music, eating food, and lounging on the beach. He will be remembered as a gentle soul with a generous heart that adored his family and cherished his time with all of them. In addition to his loving wife and parents, Lou is survived by his children, Benjamin and Jasmine Lam, his siblings, Lynn Ho, Alan Lam, Kim Hong, and Long Lam, mother in-law, Wendy Wen, brother in-law, Paul Deng, and sister in-law, Mary Deng.
