Marla G. Fox Obituary (1954

Fox, 56, a lifelong resident of Dracut, died Tuesday afternoon May 18, 2010 in Saints Medical Center, Lowell. Born in Lowell on April 22, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Mary (Cisluyeis) fox. She received her education in the Dracut school system and was a graduate of Dracut High School class of 1972. She was also a graduate of Barbazon Modeling School and Northeastern University. In her early years Marla had a successful career in Modeling, She had also worked for several local businesses including, Wang Laboratories, Jo-Ann Fabrics, Liberty Mutual, as a consultant for Tomboy Tools for Women, who supported the Susan G. Komen Foundation, as a columnist for the Dracut Dispatch and Inderon Inc. She then went on to open her own business Menagerie Design Studio in Dracut, which she operated in Dracut for many years. In her free time she enjoyed making crafts, gardening, and cherished time spent in the company of her family and friends. Marla was a member of the Calvary Chapel in Chelmsford. Surviving her are her son Jay Fox of Lowell and with whom she resided; a brother Ronald Fox of Oviedo, FL; nephews Chad Fox of Pepperell, MA, and Nathan and Aaron Fox all of Oviedo, FL; a daughter-in-law Debbie Fox of Leominster; a sister-in-law Diane Johnson of York, ME; her cousins, Shirley and Joanna Burgess of NY and NC, and and Rebecca Brigham of NC; and many dear friends. She was also the sister of the late Kenneth Fox and aunt of the late Ronald Fox Jr. To help offset funeral expenses, please make donations in Marla's name to the Marla G.
