Priscilla A. "Trixie" Cregg Obituary (1941 - 2021)

Priscilla A. Trixie (Pack) Cregg, 80, a longtime resident of Dracut, passed away at Lowell General Hospital on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late David W. Cregg, Sr. with whom she enjoyed many years of marriage until his passing in 1996. Priscilla was born in Lowell on June 17, 1941 and was the daughter of the late Gilford and Anna (Marley) Pack. Upon graduation from Lowell High School, she married and Priscilla worked in electronics for many years before becoming a Group Leader in manufacturing for Mercury Computer Systems for over 25 years. After her retirement she worked at the Dracut Community Center delivering Meals on Wheels. She loved to dance, sing, joke, cook, and play pool and listen to Elvis Presley, Kenny Rogers, Frankie Avalon and most recently Lady Gaga Poker Face, and could often be found at Cappys Copper Kettle in Lowell spending time with her dear friends. She loved to travel and had wonderful memories of trips to the Caribbean with her daughter and family trips to Florida, she enjoyed her home in Vermont and spent a lot of time there, motorcycle rides to Hampton Beach and time swimming and relaxing at Long Pond. She especially enjoyed cruises and was a Royal Caribbean Diamond Member. A fan of detective shows, Priscilla never missed an episode of CSI. Her three dogs and kitty were especially important to her. Family was the center of Priscillas life and she adored time with her children, and grandchildren. Her most cherished memories were of family gatherings and Christmas parties, Christmas was her favorite holiday. Priscilla will be remembered as the life of the party with a personality bigger than life. Everyone loved her. Priscilla is survived by her children, David W. Cregg, Jr and his longtime girlfriend Andrea Gauthier, Pamela Cregg Collins and her husband David; her grandchildren, Michael Cregg and his wife Maegan, Joshua Cregg, Kristina Cregg and her boyfriend Bobby; many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; her great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and many loving friends. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her brother, Gilbert Pack, her sister Linda Marie Pack and her dear sweet grandmother Mary Marley. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 3 pm to 7 pm at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 26th at 10:00 am at St. Francis Church, 115 Wheeler Rd., Dracut. Interment will follow in Tyngsboro Memorial Cemetery, Tyngsboro.
