Shirley Irene Page

Shirley Irene Page, 97 years old, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on September 6, 1924 in Lowell, MA and was one of six children of Adelard Snay and Annette (Savage) Snay.

She was educated in Lowell, MA graduating with a secretarial/business degree in 1942. She married Albert Page of Lawrence in 1945. After losing her first child, she secured a position in Washington, DC working at the VAs Woodward Building across from the White House. After five years she returned to Dracut, MA to start a family. She lived in her Dracut home for sixty five years.

She was a communicant of St. Michaels Church in Lowell, MA.

Shirley returned to work in 1969 for the IRS in Andover, MA and retired after 20 years. She continued working part-time for AccMedia Marketing until she was 85 years old.

Aside from work she enjoyed traveling, swimming, gardening, long walks, and purchasing and maintaining rental properties. She also spent many winters at her Palm Beach Gardens home in FL. Her favorite pastime in her later years was watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children; Gregory and his wife Sharon Buehrle of Vero Beach, FL, David Page and his wife Lucille of Dracut, Pamela Page of Manchester, NH, and Jay Page and his wife Lisa of Bedford, NH and her daughter in-law Anita. Shirley had thirteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her children; Diane and Stephen and her siblings; Doris Denis of Palm Beach Gardens, Fl, Raymond Snay of Palm Beach, Fl, Pauline Page of Pelham, NH, Patricia McCullough of Dracut, MA, and Beverly Baillargeon of Concord, NH.

Visiting hours have been omitted. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, January 7th at 10:00am at St. Michael Parish, 543 Bridge Street, LOWELL. Interment in Lowell Cemetery, LOWELL.
